Someone had perhaps rightly said that serious threat to India comes from within the country itself rather than from outside. Although the above observation was made in a different context, the hulla baloo created recently by the left and, of all major political parties, the BJP over the US-India nuclear deal at it’s final stage, goes on to prove that the above “proverbial” statement is very very true.

It is high time that India and specially Sreesanth take guard. The medium pacers antics and tantrums on the field have already brought problems for himself and sooner or later such tantrums might also put the entire Indian team in trouble. Initially when he burst into the international scene, he used to celebrate the fall of a wicket very innocently, joyously running with hands spread like wings in Shoaib Akhtars fashion.

India have convincingly won the Nottingham test against England by 7 wickets – their 29th test victory abroad in 75 years. This victory gives the visitors an edge over the home team in the current 3 test series. Among other things what makes this Indian victory more important is the return of batting form of Sachin Tendulkar. It was the little masters resolute innings of 91 runs studded with 12 glittering fours around which India’s big 481 run total was built.

Why the highest court in India called the Supreme Court? The then Chief Justice[or the Supreme Court] of India has clarified sometime ago that they are called the supreme because they are the final not because they are right or correct always. He stated this in answer to the question from a group of school children. He further stated that judiciary is an institution and no institution is infallible.
