Ragging in India is widespread, almost ubiquitous, and barbaric. It involves gross violations of human rights, and commonly to the extent that is no less than organized mass gangrape, that too occur days after days on the same set of innocent victims.

Ragging expresses the ugliest forms of human perversions, and the worst of the heinous crimes.

In India, at least, ragging is NO longer fun, NOR introduction… it is UNDOUBTEDLY a serious CRIME by group of perverts, involving gross violations of human rights.

31 reported deaths between 2000-2007 (7 in 2007 alone), hundreds of serious injuries/disablement and countless cases of sexual abuses are more than enough to prove the shocking reality.
