Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince Film – What was Missed from the Book

As most of you already know, am not a big fan of books, but when it comes to Harry Potter, I beg to differ from my usual self. Yes, I have read the 6th part of the Harry potter series, half blood prince and the concluding and final part, deathly hallows, more than a few times. I must confess, those were the very best books I have read so far.
When I was reading those Harry potter books, I used to imagine a lot of stuff, picturize loads of events that the book talked about. I seriously expected to see a lot of those in the film. But unfortunately when I saw the film, I was completely disappointed. It looks like the film makes don’t read the book properly. The film not only missed a large part of the book, but also those stuff that were shown did not completely matched with the book. I was so disappointed that I planned not to make a review of it at all. But anyways, finally, am here writing the review.
Things that were missed in the film:
1) The book starts with the minister of muggles having a discussion with ex minister of magic fudge and the new minister of magic, Scrimgeour. This was the humor part of the book; I really enjoyed reading it and was hoping to see it on the film. Too bad they could not fit it.
2) Amelia Bones – the book did not went into the details about this topic, but none the less, it could be a very good fight scene between Amelia Bones and Voldemort. Amelia Bones was the head of the department of magical law enforcement. As per the book,
We think he who must not be named may have murdered her in person, because she was a very gifted witch and – all the evidence was that she put up a real fight.
It would have been superb, if Voldemort vs. Amelia Bones, a one to one duel was shown in the film, unfortunately the filmmakers went to other useless special effects. That being said, Voldemort got no real appearance in the film.
3) Dumbledore visiting the Dudders – this part was completely changed, and Dumbledore took Harry from a station rather than the Dudders home. It could have been a great scene with the Dursley’s meeting Dumbledore and then the Kreacher part was missed too.
4) Fleur or “phlegm” as she was called, and her wedding planning with bill was completely removed from the film.
5) The Gaunts were not mentioned too, that was really a very important part of the book.
6) The book was mainly targeted at the suspense of who, “the half blood prince” really is? Unfortunately the film did not give this topic enough importance.
7) Snape hearing the seer (neither shall live while the other exists) and leaking it to Voldemort, then regretting it etc. was completely missing.
The Dumbledore’s burial – don’t see that either, neither the white tomb.
Things that where there in the film, but not matched from the book.
1) The fight with Bellatrix when Harry potter was in the Weasley’s house.
2) In the train when Harry was stunned by Malfoy, Luna came to help her instead of Tonks.
3) When Dumbledore was cornered and killed by Snape, as per the book Dumbledore stunned Harry Potter, but the film says he was asked to hide. (we all know Harry would not have hide himself when Dumbledore life is at risk)
4) Harry and Dumbledore used to apparate from outside Hogwarts as Hogwarts used to have protection that prevented anyone to directly apparate from inside the school. But in the film, they just apprated and came back from Hogwarts itself.
5) Also the appration classes were not at all mentioned.
6) Ginny Weasley was given way too much role that was not mentioned in the film.
Add more points in the comments, I might have missed some points, will try to add those in the comments if I recall any more mistakes. Am really looking foreword to the next film, the deathly hallows, that’s the final part of the Harry Potter series. Hoping to see things that match the book.
