Often you will come across kids who are very fond of drawing their favorite characters in their drawing books. And except the Disney characters who else can be as popular to be a part of your child’s book. Now sometimes the kids wish to draw the Disney characters flawlessly but end up messing with the lines and colors. This is the reason they need to learn how exactly they should draw the characters step by step. Here are the most important steps that you need to follow while drawing any particular Disney character.
First of all you need to fix a particular point of reference from where you should start the outline. The best way is to keep a reference picture of the character in front you. It might be a book; a cassette cover or even it can be your pencil box with a picture on it. Because it is very tough to recall the looks of the Disney character from your mind and then draw it at the initial stage of drawing.
You can break the picture in to small basic shapes like an oval or a circle or square. The initial lines should be drawn lightly so that if you need to erase them it will not leave any mark on the paper. Always start the drawing from the head of the picture gradually moving towards the rest of the figure. For an example you can draw the head of the Mickey Mouse using three circles to denote the two ears and the shape of the head. This will make it easy for you.
The features of the Disney character that you are drawing are quite important. The ones of the animated ones are different from each other. The nose and eyes of porky pig will never be like the ones of Mickey Mouse or Donald Duck. But when it comes to the human characters from Disney like Snow White, princess Jasmine then they can be drawn in a similar way.
The postures of the characters are quite important. Because this is most important thing that often accounts for the recognition of the character. You should make the legs, arms, and necks in the exact way as they are in the reference picture. Otherwise your Donald Duck will end up looking like any other duck.
Finally be very cautious about the color combination that you use in the pictures of the Disney characters. You can experiment with the colors of their clothes and accessories but never try to mingle with their complexions. So these are the tricks of drawing the Disney characters perfectly.
