How to Install Wall Mount

Though installing a wall mount may appear to be a simple job, it is not a cakewalk if you don’t know certain things. However, with the combination of proper skills and knowledge, you will be able to install wall mount sans problem. To install a wall mount, you will need screws, a wall mount kit, screwdriver, stud finder, pencil and level. If you are thinking about how to install wall mount for your television, the following steps could be of help:
* At first, you need to figure out the place where you want to get the television mounted. Use a stud finder to spot the wall studs that are capable to bear the weight of your TV. Once you locate the wall studs, mark them with a pencil.
* Before fixing the television wall mount to the studs, hold the bracket firmly and use screws to join it with the studs. Ensure that the level of the bracket is correct before you fix it with screws. If you feel any adjustments are required to level the bracket, do so before it is fixed.
* To join the section of the wall mount, which is designed to fit into the backside of your TV set, use the mounting holes. Though these holes might not be easily visible as they are covered, you can remove these covers without difficulty by means of a screwdriver’s flat edge.
* Finally, place the TV on the mounting bracket that is already fixed on the wall. Ask someone else to lend a hand in holding the TV while you fasten the screws joining the two brackets.
Remember to read the accompanying instructions carefully before installing the wall mount. If you try to install the wall mount in a hurry without following the instructions, it may lead to physical injury or may cause damage to the television set.
