How to Levitate – How to Fly or Float in Air

David Blaine had surely influenced many by his flying in the air stunt, and to say the least it looks as good as real. But no, this is no magic, atleast the part where he just flew a few inches above the ground. If you have watched him do that, or possibly others who have done it you will notice that they do not really jump, or take any support when they go up in air? It’s all so casual, so freely and slowly done that it sure looks like floating in air.

Lets now talk about how it is done or in other words, how to levitate.

To start this, I must first clear that you would need to do a bit of balancing, and to start with, stay close to a wall or something that you can hold on to, in case you get disbalanced and fall over. Now, stand straight, both feet on ground and touching each other. Next, make sure the people that you want to show this magic is facing you from the back and at a slight little angle that they see your both ankles from behind, and the toe of only one feet. Now put one of your feets 2 to 3 inch foreword, still both feet touching each other, preferably your feet that is visible more clearly to your audience from behind, due to the angle you are standing in.

Now the secret, you don’t fly over, all you do is rise a few inches of your both ankles, and the complete feet of the leg that is visible to your audience. So at this point, the whole of the visible feet, toe and ankle, is up a few inches and the ankle of the other feet is up the same few inch, and the toe of your invisible, hidden behind foot is still in the ground for support. Easy trick, if you give it a little practice.
