Incredible Bush Miss Incident – Bad Aim of an Iraqi Journalist

The whole world is talking about the bad aim of an Iraqi journalist, who wanted to show his undulating love and deep respect to one of the greatest caricatures of recent times, George W Bush. The Iraqi journalist who goes by the name of Muntazer al Haidi was apparently peeved at Mr. Bush for not giving free Reebok or Nike shoes to poor Afghan and Iraqi children who have been rendered homeless and orphans, thanks to the bad aim of the American president and his soldier boys. The American bombing of Iraqi and Afghan towns have resulted in massive civilian casualties, which the American army categorizes as collateral damage. It is acceptable that in a war like situation, innocent civilian casualties are quite expected and accepted. But in this case, the American bombers seem to miss everything except schools, hospitals and old age homes. In fact if rumors are to be believed, Osama Bin Laden is known to run into the open every time he hears the sound of an American airplane in the distance, waving his hands wildly at the American jets, yelling, “Shoot me if you can, shoot me if you can”. The American jets apparently miss him each time and hit a haystack or a camel or a dog instead. Osama obviously likes this so much that his favorite past time now, is taunting the American pilots.

Coming back to the ‘shoe gate’ incident as it is called; the Iraqi journalist threw both his shoes at Bush when he was addressing his farewell press conference in Kabul, Afghanistan. Halfway through his farewell speech, the journalist got up and threw his two shoes, one by one at the US president. Both the shoes missed the target as Mr. Bush smartly ducked both the throws. The journalist was arrested and is spending time in an Afghan prison, where he is quite a hero to the other inmates. This incident has stirred the Arab world once again and now the aimless Iraqi is the symbol of Arab hope. Rumors have it that deep in the Afghan mountains, the Al-Qaeda soldiers are being personally taught by Bin Laden, a very important war technique called shoe throwing. The training involves throwing dirty and smelly worn out shoes at life size targets of George Bush. The winner is determined by who gets the maximum number of correct hits on Bush’s face and the first prize is a brand new Reebok shoe and a brand new Afghan virgin girl. Meanwhile the incredible missing of the bush incident is still talked about in Arab circles that this is one miss that they would like to forget.
