Other attractions are three islands – Murano, Burano and Torcello; each unique in itself. Murano, the largest of the islands is famous for its ‘Venetian glass’. Burano is famous for its lace and brightly painted houses and Torcello is home to a bishop and has the ruins of old church buildings.
