Promote the Articles that you Submit

We at OAS try to promote your submitted articles as much as possible so that it gets the maximum exposure and visibility. OAS is a high traffic website with good feed subscribers, so your article gets a lot more eyes when you post it here. But we cannot do everything alone; we need your help to promote your articles. So, here in this article we are going to discuss some ways to promote your submitted articles.

• Tweet it – when you submit an article, we go through it and usually within 24 hours to 48 hours it gets a review, which decides the fate of the article, whether approved or denied. If it gets approved, please make sure to tweet it, we do that anyway, every tweet counts.

• Facebook share – we have the facebook share button on every approved article and the extract of every approved article is posted on the facebook fan page of OAS, but if you share it as well, it might get viral and benefit you further.

• Social bookmark it – social bookmark buttons are available on the approved articles like digg, stumbleupon, mixx etc. a few of those are on the side of the article and the rest of them are at the end of the article. Feel free to use those buttons or share the article’s link in any other way you wish. We at OAS recommend our members to share the articles link on the social media websites for more visibility.

• Link to the article – link to the article from your own website and pages. Post the links of the submitted articles on forums and other discussion boards where you are active, talk about your submitted articles wherever it is possible, give them a reference.

• Hubs and lenses – whenever I submit an article on hubpages or squidoo or ezine, etc. I make sure to interlink related articles. This is not just for links and serps, but it also improves reading and makes the content better. Suppose you have written an article on symptom or a disease, and submitted it here in OAS, and you have written another article on the same disease’s cure and treatment that you submitted on another article directory, would’nt interlinking them is a good idea? That way it helps both the reader and the rankings.

Remember, everything you do to promote it, the success of the promotion will finally depend on whether how good the article is and if it is unique or not.
