Once the baby is born and the worry is over to see it healthy and sound, the next important task for the parents become finding out the rare baby names, which will suit their baby perfectly. Now you need to be very cautious while choosing a name of the baby as this is going to become its identity and they will be have to carry it for the rest of their life.

In fact the name is something that is the most important part of ones life and the parents are given the opportunity to take the decision on their behalf. So make sure that this decision is not taken hastily and the name should not only be rare but also contain a meaning, which is praiseworthy.

There are quite a number of suggestions and ideas regarding rare baby names that will overwhelm you after the baby is born. Some of them are good enough to be considered but some should be simply overheard.

One of those useless ideas is naming the baby after a movie or television star, as this will make the name the commonest one instead of making it rare. Rare baby names can be found in the classics.

Now-a –days you will come across very few people who are fond of reading novels and poetries by great writers. This is the reason why the names used in these classics are rare as baby names. But as these names were chosen by the most intellectual writers of the world, they have deep significance within.

The other way to make your baby’s names a rare one is to refer to the astrologers and numerologists. They can tell you about the right alphabet, which can bring luck to the baby, and also let you know the number of alphabets that should be there in the rare baby name. These suggestions can be kept in mind while you are selecting a name for the baby. You can also go through some names from the foreign languages, which will surely be rare.

Here are some names, which are from languages like Chinese, Spanish etc. You can name a baby “Lian” which means lotus or “Shen” that stands for deep-thinker in Chinese. The Spanish names “Carlos” and “Alegria” means independent man and happiness respectively.

So choose the rare baby names but never compromise on the meaning as this is quite important for a name to be a good one and stay away from the funny names as they can get your child embarrassed in future.
