Cats are cozy and lazy characters. They are generally tidy and do not mess themselves up too much. Cats do not need too much attention needed to keep them clean. However, cats with furry coats stand chances of ticks and fleas making their homes in the woolly jungle. So giving a cat a bath once in a while is a very good idea. Having said that, it is not as easy to give a cat a bath, as it is for other pets like dogs for instance.
