Its great to know that you are planning to take up career as law. The first thing you should know before you become a law student is the different types of Lawyers. There are many types of Lawyers and it varies a bit depending on which country you are in. Broadly, there are civil and criminal lawyers, however there are quite a few sub groups.
Assault Lawyer – this is the most common type of lawyers, and both civil and criminal lawyers defends their clients fall under this category.
Bankruptcy Lawyer – if someone can’t pay his or her debt then he or his company is declared bankrupt. As it’s not an easy thing to file bankruptcy, so you may hire bankruptcy lawyer.
Workers Compensation Lawyer – sometimes working conditions and work involved in a job causes serious health problems which can even result in cancer. Mesothalioma is a good example of such lawyers who are highly in demand due to the labor problems arising from asbestosis. Wrongful Death Lawyers kind of fall in this category.
Criminal Defense Lawyer – guilty or not, to plead your case successfully in a court you will need a good criminal defense lawyer.
Divorce Lawyer – when “death” part of the, “till death do us apart” starts to feel good then its time to hire a divorce lawyer and end your relationship.
Insurance Lawyer – there are many types of insurance, like life insurance, personal injury or health insurance. The insurance companies faces a lot of fraud in these insurance cases, not to mention that these companies themselves try to make it fraud looking so that they won’t have to pay the victim. For all this to happen they need highly qualified and skilled insurance lawyers.
Child custody Lawyer – if divorce is a hard nut to crack, getting hold over the child’s control is even harder. That’s why, to get the child’s custody successfully, you would need a family settlement lawyer.
Abuse Lawyer – there are many kinds of abuse that goes on pretty much regularly in our lives. For example, the old age homes. We have already discusses a lot on this topic of old age homes and how they are not good enough. But then if it really turns out bad, you can always hire an abuse lawyer to fight the old age home or any other such institutions.
